Athletics Hall of Fame
The night ends. What they take home doesn't.
The Hall of Fame inducts a new class every other year. The award that goes into an inductee's hands outlives the evening by fifty years — it sits on a mantel, in an office, in a case their grandchildren walk past.
The Hall of Fame runs on volunteer time and a shoulder-tap budget. This fund is the standing account behind it: the engraved awards, the medallions worn when a name is read, the nameplates on the wall in the Big Gym, and the printed program that puts a career on the record. A class goes in every other year, so what comes in between inductions is exactly what makes the next one right.
It is also how alumni stay in it. You don't have to live in San Luis Obispo, or have a kid on a roster, to keep a Tiger's name on that wall. For former Tigers, this is a standing way to stay part of the program that shaped you.
This is the one SLOTAB gift that isn't split 75/25 between a team and the general fund. All of it goes to honoring inductees.

Levels are how the committee plans to spend the fund. Any amount helps — every Hall of Fame gift goes to honoring inductees, the next class and the ones after it, whatever the size.

Athlete Criteria
- Nominee must have graduated at least ten years prior to the year of induction.
- Nominee must have participated in sports at SLOHS for more than one year.
- Accomplishments at SLOHS and beyond must align with the Hall of Fame mission.
- A complete nomination form must be submitted on the SLOHS HOF website.
Coach Criteria
- Coach nominee must have coached at SLOHS for a minimum of ten years (not necessarily consecutive).
- Accomplishments at SLOHS and beyond must align with the Hall of Fame mission.
